Before booking we ask about triggers — nail trims, face touching, dryers, restraint, past bad experiences — and plan around them.
2. Calm arrival
A quiet check-in, a short greeting, and a treat. No rushed handoff at the door.
3. Go at the dog's pace
We start with the least stressful step and read body language before every new tool.
4. Bath and hand dry
Warm water, gentle restraint, and hand or high-velocity drying with the dog supported the whole time.
5. Finish what's safe
We complete what your dog can comfortably handle and tell you honestly what we left for next time.
6. Debrief at pickup
You get a straight report on how it went and a plan to make the next visit easier.

Do you sedate anxious dogs for grooming?
No. Sedation is a veterinary decision, not a grooming one. We use patience, breaks, gentle restraint, and positive associations instead — that works for the large majority of nervous dogs.
Do you use cage dryers?
Never. Every dog is hand dried or dried with a high-velocity dryer while supported by a groomer, which removes one of the most common sources of grooming anxiety.
Can we visit before booking a full groom?
Absolutely. A short meet-and-greet lets your dog see the salon, meet the groomer, and leave on a good note before any real work happens.
What if my dog can't finish the groom?
We stop. You'll only be charged for what was completed, and we'll suggest splitting the remaining work across a second, shorter visit.
